Labour Wages in the Global Garment Industry - A Survey

Labour wages in apparel industry

Thank you for opening this post and taking a look. You are invited to participate in this short survey.
You know, the labour cost in making garments play an important role in apparel sourcing. Apparel brands give priority to the labour cost with other apparel securing factors. I know the minimum labour wages of a few countries but don't know many of the countries who are doing major apparel production. You know how much you pay to your shopfloor workers. So, your support is important to make this survey a big success.

I am thinking of doing this survey to understand the minimum wages in different countries. After collecting from you, I will publish the survey report in another post. Where you can see the comparative study of world's minimum labour wages. Even I don't know the name of all countries who are making garments for fulfilling the world's apparel demand. Asian counties and African countries are majorly involved in making a garment and exporting considered the low labour wages countries. Many European countries manufacturer garments but their labour cost are higher compared to the Asian countries. But how much is the difference? To know the answer, I am doing this survey. Hope I will get your support.

You just need to fill out the following fields in the following Google Form. In the survey report, I will mention your name in the acknowledgement if you like to get published (optional).
